Q: What are the exact arrival and departure times?

A: Arrival is July 13th by 4:00 PM for the welcome dinner. The main program concludes July 15th at 12:00 PM, with optional extended stay for “All Play” days until July 19th.

Q: What's included in the price?

A: Your investment covers all meals, guided adventures, materials, and experiences July 13 - July 15.  We also have an option to extend your stay until July 19.  If you are interested in that, please let us know after you register and we will share more details then.

You will be responsible for your travel costs to Lake Lawn Resort, any personal purchases, and your accommodations.

Q: What about accommodation? Do we stay together as a family?

A: Families will have several options for luxury mountain accommodations configured based on your family size and children's ages. All accommodations are in the same premium location.

Q: What's the weather like? What should we pack?

A: July at Lake Lawn typically brings warm summer days averaging 78–85°F and comfortable evenings around 60–65°F. Expect sunshine, lake breezes, and the occasional summer storm.

Pack light summer clothing (shorts, tees, sundresses), swimwear, comfortable shoes for activities, and a light layer or jacket for evenings by the lake. We’ll provide a detailed packing list closer to the event with any specific activity or dinner attire notes.

Q: How much time is spent in sessions versus activities?

A: Each day balances family development work with adventure. Typically:

• 8am - 9am: Breakfast

• 9am - 12pm: Workshops, Connection Exercises, and Transformational Games

• 12pm - 1pm: Lunch

• 1pm - 5pm: Free Time to Enjoy the Lake & Resort Amenities

• 5pm - 6pm: Dinner

• 6pm - 8pm: Evening Activity 
  

Q: Can we choose our activities?

A: Yes. During the 1pm–5pm free time window, families can choose how they’d like to spend their afternoon. Options may include boating, paddleboarding, swimming, golfing, spa time, lawn games, biking, or simply relaxing by the lake. All activity levels and preferences are accommodated.

Q: What if some family members don't want to participate in certain activities?

A: That’s completely normal. We provide flexible options so everyone can engage at their comfort level. Whether someone prefers high-energy lake activities or quiet relaxation time, there are alternatives available while still keeping the family connected to the overall experience. Our facilitators help guide families through different comfort levels and interests.

Q: What ages is this appropriate for?

A: We've designed the program for families with children aged 5-22. Activities are adapted for different age groups while maintaining family connection.

Q: My spouse is skeptical about "family development" events. How do you handle this?

A: We focus on natural transformation through shared experiences rather than formal therapy or workshops. Many initially skeptical spouses have become our biggest advocates after experiencing our approach.

Q: What if we have to handle business emergencies during the event?

A: While we encourage full presence, we understand the realities of running a business. The schedule includes free time, and the venue has excellent connectivity and private spaces if needed.

Q: How do you handle dietary restrictions or food allergies?

A: All meals accommodate dietary requirements, which we'll gather during your pre-event planning call.

Q: What safety measures are in place for the adventures?

A: All lake and resort activities are operated by experienced, professional staff and follow established safety standards. Whether it’s boating, paddle sports, or other recreational options, proper instruction and equipment are provided.
