Trail Description
The Blackcomb Ascent Trails are three interconnected hiking trails that wander through breathtaking old growth coastal rainforest terrain on singletrack trails. This route includes scenic forested sections that cross bridges over small creeks while also hiking up ski hills from Whistler’s valley bottom to the alpine on Blackcomb Mountain.

This isn’t your average challenge. The 29029 Everesting event is designed to simulate the ascent of Mount Everest – without leaving North America. You’ll be hiking almost 4,000 feet of vertical gain per hike, with just 8 ascents required to reach the coveted 29,029 feet, the height of Everest.
The hike will take you from the valley floor to the summit of Blackcomb Mountain, one of the most iconic mountains on the continent. It’s the longest ascent of all 29029 events, meaning you’ll be testing your mental and physical strength in a way that will leave you feeling accomplished and transformed.

If you decide to cancel your reservation for this event, credits will be authorized based on the following policy, without exceptions:
Up to 120 days prior to the event: 100% credit to be used for membership renewal only
119 - 90 days days prior to the event: 50% credit to be used for membership renewal only
89 days or less prior to event: NO CREDIT
If you cancel the event and are eligible for a credit, the credit will expire 12 months after the purchase date.
